Within 24 hours of hearing of the devastation in Tennessee, God’s Pit Crew and ministry partners had Blessing Buckets, water, and life-sustaining supplies on the ground.
Hurricane Laura Response
Hurricane Laura was a record breaking category 4 hurricane that devastated the Lake Charles, LA coastline with strong winds and deadly tornadoes. The immediate response team deployed from the God's Pit Crew Distribution Center in Danville, VA on Friday, August 29, heading to Lake Charles, Louisiana, to bring hope, healing, and restoration to hurting people in that area.God's Pit Crew spent 3 weeks in the area helping dozens of families by tarping roofs, cutting trees and removing debris. We were also able to accomplish the following;

Cleveland Home Build
In 2020, you made it possible for God's Pit Crew to rebuild a home for the Woods family in Cleveland, Tennessee, who lost their home during a devastating tornado in April. Projects like this would not happen without the financial support and prayers from God's Pit Crew supporters.
Blessing Buckets

A Blessing Bucket is a five-gallon bucket filled with essential items that are used by individuals every day. When received, these buckets help to enrich lives and become a small token of God’s love to a person in a time of crisis.

Distribution
In addition to our disaster relief and building projects, we have an on-going (every other Thursday) product distribution. Approved non-profit organizations pick up pallets of food, water, hygiene supplies, diapers, etc. and distribute these items to people in need throughout our area. Each year, we serve approximately 175 non-profit agencies. In turn, these agencies serve an additional 32,000+ local residents per month.

Every other week, God's Pit Crew has a local distribution program that provides registered local non-profit agencies and organizations in our region with food, drinks, and other products. These agencies serve thousands of people in our region with the product provided by God's Pit Crew. We are so honored to serve our hometown and make a difference across the street and around the world.
